Pall ring packing is a new type of packing, which is based on the improvement of some main disadvantages of rasching ring. It is formed by opening eight layers of rectangular small windows on the wall of ordinary rasching ring. The small window blades meet in the center of the ring, and the upper and lower layers of windows meet each other. The main difference between it and rasching ring packing is that there is a rectangular window hole on the side wall, and the window leaf of the window hole bends into the ring center. Because of the hole on the ring wall, the distribution performance of gas and liquid is greatly improved compared with rasching ring, especially the inner surface area of the ring can be fully utilized.
Product Feature
Pall ring has the advantages of large flux, small resistance, high separation efficiency and large operating flexibility. Under the same pressure reduction, the treatment capacity can be more than 50% larger than that of rasching ring. At the same treatment capacity, the pressure reduction can be reduced by half, and the mass transfer efficiency can be increased by about 20%. Compared with rasching ring, this kind of packing has the characteristics of large production capacity, strong resistance and large operating flexibility. In general, the pressure drop of the same pressure drop can be 50% - 100% larger than that of RASI ring, and 50% - 70% smaller than that of rasching ring. The tower height also has pressure drop. The use of Bauer ring can save 20% - 40% of the packing volume compared with rasching ring.
